I’ve mentioned that I used to be a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. As you know heart disease is the #1 killer, ahead of cancer, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses. The work of AHA is invaluable in bringing about change in that statistic. I would really like to encourage you to consider donating to the organization, particularly those of you who have family or friends who are alive today thanks, in part, to the work of AHA.
There are a number of ways you can participate in the mission and work of American Heart Association. One of those is by making a donation, and there are a number of ways you can do that. Got an old vehicle you’re considering selling? Donate it instead. Want to give a contribution in memory of a family member who died of heart disease? You can do that too. You can participate in the American Heart Walk, a gala, or one of the other fundraising activities. The main thing is, just give!
